What was I thinking before? I'll never be okay with being single! (will I?? I don't know?)

  1. Yes, you will.

If being single means you are waiting for the right guy - the man God has chosen to love and cherish you - then waiting and remaining single will be a blessing, anticipation.

If you look at it in the way the world does: "Everyone else around me has someone. What's wrong with me that I don't have what they have?" then you are going to be miserable, feeling worthless and looking for love in the wrong places. Look at it through Christ's eyes: You are special, worthy of love and respect. He's your Father and He's out searching for the perfect match for you, preparing the right man in the same way He prepares you.

The Lord has plans to prosper you and not to harm you and if you seek Him, He will give you the desires of your heart.

Jesus loves you and He knows that you desire to be held and loved romantically. Trust and wait on Him with the mentality that He is preparing your life for your according to HIS perfect timing and plan.

    (((Hugs))) Hang in there, Sister!

  2. Thanks again for your great advice. Right now I really don't think I'll ever be okay with being single, its not something I've ever wanted. But I'm trying not to let it rule my life and to put God first.
I have been looking at things in the way you've suggested, and have felt like a failure because my relationships are never successful. But you're so right, if God means for me not to be single, then in his time, I'll meet someone.
How did you get to be so wise by the way? ;)

    Thanks again,

    Rachel

  3. Hey Kaisaan, I was just looking at your profile and I noticed you like the Dragon Keeper series. I read the first one last year for a uni class and really enjoyed it! I've been looking around in second hand stores for the other ones in the series :) Are they as good as the first one?

  4. How did I get so wise??? Well, I wouldn't describe myself as wise! Not in the slightest! LOL

I honestly am not wise at all, but I try to listen to what God would have me say to others. I try to encourage and answer questions based on the Word of God. I guess that could be viewed as wise to others...

You're welcome, though. Hang in there. Jesus loves you and He wants you to be happy.

Dragon Keeper books are AWESOME!!! I wish I owned them, but alas, I do not. *pouts* Yeah, the other books are just as good as the first if not better. I would completely encourage getting them!
